Cheezburger Content Marketing

The Cheezburger Network is the birthplace of the LOLcat and one of the world’s largest online humor publishers with an audience of 16 million. While serving as Creative Director, I collaborated with C-suite leaders on product strategy, marketing and content creation. I led full-scale redesigns, created new desktop and mobile products, and led a team of designers and copywriters to pitch and produce editorial and advertising solutions.

I helped conceptualized, pitch, write and design branded content to fit seamlessly into the Cheezburger network. Clients included Toyota, Dreamworks, Hertz, GEICO, Proctor & Gamble, Cadbury, and IKEA. For example, Hertz On Demand wanted to spread awareness of their lower age-limits for car rentals. Our solution was to create a series of images poking fun of age restrictions. Dreamworks was looking to promote their new movie The Croods starring a sloth, so we created a section of the network devoted to funny sloth memes.
